WEI 161 – Engineered Wood: Structural Panels

This is a 48-minute module. It covers manufacturing, specifications and design considerations related to structural wood panels: oriented strand board (OSB) and plywood.

This modules covers basic concepts related to plywood and OSB construction, specification and design. The veneer grades, span rating, grade, exposure durability and panels strength calculations are some of the subjects covered in this module.
